This article is incredibly sad because I LOVE whales and do not like birds. I think that if this keeps happening a bunch of animal species might go extinct in the next couple years. In the article when they talked about the birds making holes in the whales back it would hurt the whale a lot and when it went under water with the hole the hole could get infected and the would die. And if the whale did not die then the hole would get bigger and bigger and then eventually the whale would just die. I do not think that it is entirely the sea gulls fault because for them the whales are a way of getting food and there is no way really around that because everything has to eat but when the seagulls started lading on the whale and eating it alive it kind of got a little overboard and then the birds got a lot of food form doing that so they kept doing it.
